Here you have cherry blossoms, and the cult of anime, and world-famous Japanese cuisine. Few people think about public toilets when it comes to this picturesque country.
However , X . Nakamura has his own opinion on this. On his Instagram, he posts photos of rooms for privacy, calling it a real study.
Since 2017, the photographer has taken about two hundred such pictures, and it is quite difficult to meet two similar structures on them.
In our view, a public toilet is a place where you don't want to waste a minute and you only think about how to get out of there as quickly as possible. In Japan, toilets seem to be a separate art form.
The variety of structures is amazing. This is a house, a tree trunk, and letters. Basically, the futuristic style prevails.
There are even faces — which, to be honest, causes two impressions, given the main function of buildings.
It should be noted that the photographer chose a very unusual object for research. But, as they say, what can you not do for science?
