It is transmitted through genes and affects only 1 person in 10,000. This can include both women and men. The disease has many symptoms, but the most unusual one is that people suffering from it tend to fall in love with everyone around them.
Williams syndrome makes Alexandra friendly, affectionate, charming and socially open. Because of this, the 27-year-old woman is hyper-social and falls in love with the people she meets at first sight. Alexandra also has problems with cognitive abilities and development, as well as with the cardiovascular system.
The woman's older sister, Victoria, has to keep an eye on her. A relative says that Alexandra is not just incredibly sociable. She wants to hug people, including complete strangers. She can easily throw herself on the neck of the first passerby she meets and kiss him with happy eyes.
Victoria teaches her sister that not all people have good intentions or are simply in the mood for such hugs. Unfortunately, Alexandra already has a negative experience that she does not like to talk about. In an interview with reporters, she only said:
Alexandra admits that hugs make her happy and she finds it difficult to restrain herself. After numerous conversations with her sister, she finally learned to control herself and not attack random people. The Internet and social networks have become a real salvation for women. She has a huge number of friends in different countries of the world.
Alexandra maintains her accounts together with her sister. They tell people about Williams syndrome and show subscribers clothes that they and Victoria design themselves. On their pages there are many bright photographs in which the sisters appear in bright and stylish images. Sometimes they manage to sell some of the things.
They donate part of the money they earn to the Williams Syndrome Association. This international organization supports people with rare diseases. Victoria says that working together not only brings her pleasure, but also helps her better understand her special sister.
Williams syndrome is similar to Down syndrome and also affects appearance. They have similar facial features, a large mouth and eyes of a surprisingly bright blue color. People with this disease also have a passion for music and often play musical instruments very well.
