A mother of two from the UK, who lost her hair and self-confidence due to cancer and chemotherapy, received an incredible makeup from a professional makeup artist working with world stars. Amanda's son was planning an important celebration, and her friend Naomi Donne, who was a makeup artist for such stars as Michelle Pfeiffer, decided to make her a beautiful makeup.

Amanda is no longer alive, but her relatives and Naomi wanted to post a video about the miraculous transformation for charity and to pay tribute to her fight against cancer.

Naomi wanted to give Amanda the opportunity to feel as beautiful as possible at her son's bar mitzvah (the coming-of-age holiday in Judaism). The women became friends eight years ago when their children went to the same school.

Naomi recalls: "She was the first mother to greet me at school, which means a lot in a difficult time. I will never forget her kindness to me. I was happy to do something for her in return as a sign of our wonderful friendship."

Amanda fought cancer for four years and lost all her hair, but she was very happy that she would become another client of Naomi. Realizing that chemotherapy had seriously weakened Amanda's immune system and made her skin dry and sensitive, Naomi used hypoallergenic products without fragrance.

First, Naomi prepared the skin of the face by applying a moisturizer and a base with a yellow tint, which helps make the makeup more resistant and hides redness. The makeup artist applied light shadows around Amanda's eyes, glued false eyelashes and drew her eyebrows. To add color, Naomi applied a little cream blush to her cheekbones and forehead. The soft and charming image was complemented with a new wig.

Naomi told Amanda, "When I use wigs to work with movie characters, for actors, there are some ways to make a wig look natural. I pull it on near my ears, then pull it back, comb it through and fluff it up a little, because real hair can't look perfectly styled."

When the magical transformation was completed, a smiling Amanda said that she had been pampered: "I feel like a star, it's true."

Naomi filmed the process and posted the video on her YouTube channel. Unfortunately, Amanda died, but Naomi and the family of the deceased decided to post a video in memory of her.

In this way, the makeup artist wants to help raise funds for the only international cancer care organization that helps women cope with the visible side effects of therapy — Look Good Feel Better. Naomi believes that when sick women can feel beautiful again, it has a great positive effect on the outcome of treatment.
