A 20-year-old student believes that older women are jealous of her relationship with a 60-year-old man

20-year-old Lea Senibaldi met 60-year-old Ress three years ago when he was playing in a band with her father. For a year they talked on Facebook, until the girl's parents revealed their connection. The couple had to stop all contact for a year, but when they met after, Lea realized that this was true love. Now the lovers are planning to get engaged and say they don't care about the age difference.

Lea Senibaldi lives in Nashville (Tennessee). She admits that her parents were, to put it mildly, not thrilled when they found out that she was communicating with her father's friend. But about two years ago, Lea and Ress still became a couple, despite the misunderstanding of the girl's family and friends.

"We notice a lot of ambiguous views on ourselves, but we never take offense. Usually we even try to play along with people. For example, if we see someone openly staring at us, we can kiss on purpose to get curious. When we met for the first time three years ago and looked at each other, I, I don't know why, ran up to Ress and hugged him. I felt that I was doing the right thing," Lea said.

"After my parents found out that Ress and I were texting on the Internet, they forbade me to communicate with him, because they sincerely believed that he was just trying to seduce and use me. But a year later I realized that my feelings for Ress remained the same, and we began to communicate again," the girl recalls.

"It was very difficult for me without communicating with Ress, I thought about him a lot and knew deep in my heart that I needed to talk to him again. When we finally met, I knew that Ress was my only one. I realized that I have loved him since that time, and my feelings have only become more serious. It was obvious that we had feelings for each other, that we were created to be together. From the moment we started dating last year, we are absolutely inseparable," says Lea.

"My parents still don't accept Ress as my boyfriend, but I hope they will change their position, because they also have a serious age difference — 27 years," Lea said.

The 60-year—old Ress is a consumer electronics salesman. He is 9 years older than Lea's mother, but 18 years younger than her father. "We have faced serious resistance from our families. Lea's parents tried to use all possible methods to intimidate her," he says.

Lea notes that her parents are alarmed that because of the age of Ress, she may be left alone at a fairly young age. But, despite the difference in 40 years, Lea is not a bit worried that she may become a widow in the near future: "All relationships come to an end — because of a breakup or someone's death. But if you think about it constantly, you can miss a lot of very beautiful things that flash right in front of your eyes."

"I think a lot of older women are jealous of me because I have a very attractive boyfriend," says Lea. "We are not even considering the option in which we will not be together. We just need to be patient," adds Ress.
