The accident with the star of the film Brandon Lee occurred on April 1, 1993. A few hours before the shooting, Lee jokingly brought a Magnum-44 pistol to his temple and pulled the trigger. There was a click, everyone stared at the actor in horror, and Brandon just laughed and said: "Whoever is destined to be hanged will not drown. I will die otherwise, I don't need to be afraid of a gun."

But when Lee pulled the trigger again during the shooting, he suddenly collapsed to the ground, and a puddle of real blood spread under his head. It turned out that they forgot to remove the "plug" from the gun — it flew out and got stuck in Lee's spine. The fault, most likely, was the negligence of the props.

Two weeks later, the actor was supposed to have a wedding, but he died in the hospital a few hours later without regaining consciousness.
