67th Annual Cannes Film Festival

On Wednesday, May 14, the 67th Cannes Film Festival opened in the south of France with the film Princess of Monaco by French director Olivier Dahan, starring Nicole Kidman and Tim Roth. The opening ceremony of the festival was held at the Palais des Festivals, at the Théâtre Lumiere, the main venue for the Cannes Film Festival. By tradition, world-class stars flocked to Cannes. 18 films from 11 countries of the world participate in the main program of the film festival this year. Andrey Zvyagintsev will represent Russia at the main film screening of the world with the film Leviathan, which was filmed on the Kola Peninsula. The festival will run until May 25, the day the winner will be announced.
