When the scale of your scales does not show what you want, all these truths appear in your mind. You believe they can help you get back in shape: running in the morning, avoiding sweets, getting eight hours of sleep. But do all these rules really work?
Here are 5 stereotypes about a healthy lifestyle that have not worked for a long time.

1. Sleep for 8 hours.
Recent studies have shown that a person only needs 7 hours of healthy sleep for the body to store energy and be efficient throughout the day.

2. Full breakfast.
Your breakfast amount should depend only on your needs. Food will be useful if you really want to eat it and do not shove it into yourself by force, following outdated rules. If you don't want to have a hearty breakfast, don't do it.

3. Jogging in the morning.
You can run both in the morning and in the evening. The usefulness of this does not decrease. If you are not able to wake up early in the morning to run - no need to force yourself. In addition, it is even harmful, since your body must fully wake up before training. Better have breakfast, wait 40 minutes and go for a run, or leave it until the evening.

4. Avoid sweets.
Sweets are not only good for our body but also necessary to a certain extent, since it is glucose that makes our brain function. Therefore, in no case should you completely eliminate sweets from the diet, but you can try to minimize them. For example, instead of yogurt with additives, eat natural yogurt with fruits, and instead of sweets, eat protein bars

5. Exercise until you're exhausted.
If in the morning your body does not hurt after training, then you have not trained well. This is a popular myth that has nothing to do with reality. Soreness occurs with excessive muscle tension and damage to muscle tissue. In such situations, you really need to stop training and recover.
