Bibi Buell is an American singer and former fashion model, she was Playboy magazine's Girlfriend of the Month in November 1974. From 1972 to 1979, Buell lived with rock musician Todd Rundgren. In 1976, Buell became pregnant as a result of a short relationship with Steven Tyler. She gave birth on July 1, 1977, named her daughter Liv Rundgren and stated that Todd Rundgren was the father of the child. By that time, Rundgren and Buell had already separated, but Rundgren still put his name on Liv's birth certificate and took on the role of her father, including paying for her education.

At the age of 10 or 11, Liv met Steven Tyler and suspected that he was her father when she noticed their resemblance to Tyler's daughter Mia.
