By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/15-shockingly-realistic-paintings.htmlPatrick Kramer is an American hyperrealist artist from Springville, Utah. After graduating from Brigham Young University in 2008 with a degree in art, Kramer began a successful career as an artist. Patrick works on each of his paintings for an average of 50 to 300 hours. Usually the whole process starts with photos. The artist comes up with a certain idea, collects the necessary decorations and accessories, experiments with them in Photoshop, and then uses the final digital composition as a basis. To the age-old question: "Why steam with something that will look like a photo?" - Kramer answers: "I would say that this is a unique experience for the viewer. You approach the picture differently than you approach the photo… People will pass by a hyperrealistic work, thinking that it is a photograph, but if you tell them that it is a painting, they will look at it more closely. They will come back and look at it, look for brush strokes." Below you will see some of Kramer's most favorite works. Surprisingly, all these are really paintings…
