1. In 2018, Elizabeth Olsen, who played Wanda in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, expressed a preference for "covering up a bit." She compared Wanda's costume to other MCU characters such as Tessa Thomspon's Valkyrie and Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow, who have more modest costumes with only Wanda showing off her cleavage. She believes that costumes should be iconic images and not represent the average woman.

Bruce refused to do the scene because he said no one would believe that Robin could beat him in a fight. In the original Beauty and the Beast movie, Belle was shown in a yellow corset, but Emma Watson was against it from the very beginning, saying that wearing a corset is an unattainable ideal of female beauty. So the corset was replaced with a flexible bodice. It also allowed the character to move more freely, allowing her to ride a horse without her clothes getting in the way of her every move.

5. Eleanor, Michelle Yeoh's character in Crazy Rich Asians, was a perfectionist who knew her clothes had to be perfect. So when Michelle was presented with an emerald engagement ring she was supposed to wear, she quickly declined because it wasn't a real emerald. Instead, she offered to use her jewelry, which was a real emerald ring.

6. In an interview, Michelle Rodriguez revealed that one of the original storylines in Fast & Furious was that her character, Letty, cheated on her on-screen boyfriend, Dom, played by Vin Diesel. This storyline didn't make sense to Michelle at all, which made her stand her ground. She said it was unrealistic for a Hispanic woman to cheat on the biggest alpha male, and she didn't like portraying a character who cheated.

7. Meryl Streep wanted her character, Miranda Priestley, to be a fully formed character in the sense that the script would show how experienced a business person she is. 8. In Star Wars. Episode III: Revenge of the Sith Samuel L. Jackson asked director George Lucas to allow him to use a purple lightsaber instead of the standard blue or red lightsaber. Having a purple lightsaber would make it easier for him to identify himself during a big skirmish. Lucas initially refused, but when the day of filming arrived, Jackson walked onto the set and was given a purple lightsaber. It just proves that what Samuel L. Jackson wants, Samuel L. Jackson gets.

9. Like Michelle Yeoh, Whoopi Goldberg was against wearing fake jewelry for her costume as Queen Constantina in Cinderella. So when she saw the fake jewelry, she immediately contacted the design team to select everything they needed from luxury jeweler Harry Winston.
