By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/10-brad-pitt-movies-worth-revisiting.htmlOn December 18, this bright and recognizable Hollywood actor celebrates his 59th birthday. On Brad Pitt's birthday, we offer a selection of the top ten films with him to include them in the list of the closest to viewing.
1. The Man Who Changed Everything (2011)
Of course, this film can hardly be called a movie masterpiece, but it is quite worthy. This is an adaptation of Michael Lewis' book about baseball team manager Billy Bean and his attempts to create a cohesive team of the best players. This is despite the fact that there is practically no money for it. Pitt plays Bean, and John Hill plays Peter Brand, an economics expert who skillfully uses his skills to create an effective system of analytical statistics. Both actors create an excellent dynamic of the film. Bean was a pretty former baseball star, and Brand was a college graduate who no one respected... until he started getting results.
2. Seven (1995)
The film "Seven" by David Fincher plunges the viewer into a bottomless pit of sadness, anger and moral decay and does not even try to help him get out of it. Fincher's excellent leadership, Darius Honji's amazing cinematography and the incredible acting of Morgan Freeman and Kevin Spacey have already made this film exciting, so Brad Pitt could just come for the check without appearing on the screen at all. But instead, he helped take this film to a new level by using his cuteness as a painful visual analogy to the brutal loss of innocence and compassion. Gwyneth Paltrow is also worthy of the highest praise.
3. Where the River Flows (1992)
As the golden boy Paul McLean, an idol for his younger brother Norman (Craig Schaeffer) Pitt strongly resembles a young Robert Redford. So it's not surprising that old Redford (who shot this picture) accepted him for this role. He played a charming bad guy... with a fishing rod…
4. Big Jackpot (2000)
Guy Ritchie's crime thriller "The Big Jackpot" is overloaded with such interesting characters as bounty hunters, thieves, diamond dealers, diamond robbers and Russian murderers, but the charming Irish Jew Brada Pete tops this list. "Big Jackpot" was only the second Guy Ritchie film, but it already guessed the special style of this talented director. This is probably one of the best films of Brad Pitt.
5. How Cowardly Robert Ford killed Jesse James (2007)
The film is an adaptation of Ron Hansen's 1983 novel, which, in turn, is a dramatization of James' life and his relationship with his partner Robert Ford. James is played by Pitt, and Ford is played by Casey Affleck. Pitt created a special atmosphere around James, making him a charismatic but emotionally volatile criminal whose anxiety and paranoia began to affect his best qualities. But Affleck played no less strongly — a man who admired James for so long that he eventually began to envy him.
6. Ocean's Eleven Friends (2001)
This crime comedy was a remake of the film of the same name. George Clooney, Matt Damon, Scott Caan, Don Cheadle, Casey Affleck, the late Bernie Mac, Elliott Gould, Carl Reiner, Andy Garcia and Julia Roberts starred with Pitt. Pitt plays Rusty Ryan, a con artist hired by his buddy Danny Ocean (Clooney) to join a group of 9 other criminals. Together they are preparing to rob a casino in Las Vegas. Pitt's excellent dry humor, as well as his serious face, made this film. One of his best works.
7. Advisor (2013)
Legendary director Ridley Scott shot this highly publicized film, which featured Michael Fassbender, Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Javier Bardem and Brad Pitt. It tells the story of a respected lawyer who got involved with an illegal business. Worth a look.
8. Interview with a vampire (1994)
This popular atmospheric thriller appeared thanks to Anne Rice's romantic bestseller about the origin of the age-old vampire. Tom Cruise and Kirsten Dunst also starred in the film, but Pitt himself said that he really did not like acting in this film, and if he was lucky enough to reshoot it now, he would change a lot in it.
9. Mr. and Mrs. Smith (2005)
With this comedy-dramatic action movie, a long romance between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie began, which, as you already know, grew into marriage and the creation of a family. Pitt plays John Smith, a talented killer who lives a double life. His wife Jane Smith (Jolie), it would seem, is a noticeable housewife, but she also has a lot of secrets. After learning about each other, they decide to get rid of each other, but realize that they really love each other. The film has dynamics, action, humor and, of course, a wonderful game of Pitt and Jolie. Remembering the films with Brad Pitt, you will surely remember this one among the first.
10. War Z (2013)
This is a fairly new category of movies for Pitt zombies. The plot revolves around the UN worker Gerry Lane (Pitt), who rushes around the world in a race against time to stop an epidemic that destroys entire armies and states and threatens humanity with extinction.
