What young Brits dream of
Photographer Fumi Nagasaka traveled to Manchester, which has become one of the poorest districts in England in the last decade, to capture portraits of young people on the streets of the city and find out what they dream of.
Under the rule of the Conservative Party, the former capital of British music and manufacturing is going through hard times. According to statistics, about 600 thousand inhabitants of the county of Manchester are poor, and in some areas of the city more than half of the children grow up below the poverty line.
