This time, the French photographer Sasha Goldberger placed the well-known superheroes and villains from the Marvel and DC comics universes, as well as several characters from cult films on portraits in the spirit of Flemish painters of the XVII century. Admittedly, such characters as, for example, the Joker or the Hulk look very unusual thanks to handmade costumes of that era, majestic poses and thoughtful looks.
The photos demonstrate the centuries-old technique of the artists of the Flemish school of painting and convey the aristocratic spirit of that time.
