What is a playground

Ilya Gorokhov writes: “I want to share the work of the MONSTRUM workshop, which received the Danish Design Award in 2012 in the playground design nomination. The photos are taken from the catalog, so in some places they even have prices and you can evaluate how much they correspond to the work and our reality.”

Why I decided to write about them - our housing office asked to write a letter from residents with a request to build a new site. They themselves cannot restore it after the bombing of the reconstruction of the boiler house. The playground will certainly be built, but I would like to ask you just three questions: 1. Do you think Danish playgrounds are good? 2. Are they worth the money requested? 3. Are our sites built by public utilities cheaper or more expensive?
