This year, culinary geniuses from five continents gathered in the Spanish port city of Bilbao to choose the 50 best restaurants of 2018 and, most importantly, to crown the new best chef.
The title of the best went to the Italian restaurant in Modena Osteria Francescana and its chef Massimo Bottura, whose delicious and sometimes incredible processing of classic Italian recipes amaze the imagination and taste buds. In 2016, Bottura's restaurant already took the first place. The Spanish restaurant of the Rock brothers took second place this time, and the French restaurant Mirazur and its chef Mauro Colagreco were in third.
