The Romanian countryside, the site of which is formed a toxic lake
The once beautiful village in the mountains, but now a lonely Church tower and several houses flooded, toxic waters, full of cyanide and other harmful chemicals. Such a sad, but at the same time, a majestic sight in the Romanian County of Alba. Local residents were forced to leave this area a few decades ago, and opening the picture clearly demonstrates how progress and the industry is not spared the traditions and feelings of the people.
Copper mining in Rosia Poieni mines in West-Romanian mountains Alba County became a curse for the inhabitants of the two villages located at the foot of the mountains where a mine. The government forced the inhabitants of the neighboring villages Jamana to leave their homes and forget about the old way of life, to make room for the release of toxic waste from mines.
