The most colorful chameleons
Chameleons are amazing creatures that have gained fame primarily for their ability to change their color. This process occurs as a result of the action of external stimuli, for example, from an increase in temperature. To date, science knows 193 species of chameleons, divided into 11 genera. They live in Madagascar, as well as in continental Africa, Southern Europe and the Middle East - both in forests and in deserts or steppes. The diet of chameleons includes a variety of insects, small mammals and lizards.
