"The most beautiful poker player in Russia" died under mysterious circumstances
The body of 26-year-old Lilia Novikova, known on the Internet under the nickname Lia, was found in Moscow. The girl was famous in the circles of esports players — for many years she was fond of online poker, led thematic groups in social networks, participated in tournaments.
Lilia's body was found in her apartment by a friend who, at the request of her parents, came to check if everything was fine with the girl. Now law enforcement officers are engaged in clarifying all the circumstances of the death, but they already have a basic version of what happened.

Lilia's parents, who had left for the country the day before, were worried because the girl stopped answering calls. They asked the neighbor to take the spare keys and go to the apartment on Kutuzovsky to check if everything was in order. Upon entering, the woman saw Lily's lifeless body on the bathroom floor.
During the initial examination, traces of electrical trauma were found on the corpse. The investigation suggests that the girl was charging one of her gadgets in the bathroom and accidentally touched the "plug" that was under voltage.
