The girl who was born in the pub returned 18 years later
Isobel Casey from the county of Cambridgeshire, decided to celebrate her coming of age in the very pub where, by coincidence, she was once born.
Isobel Casey, like many of her peers, decided to celebrate her 18th birthday in a pub, where from that day on she is allowed to freely enjoy beer! But Isobel chose a special pub for the holiday — the Hartford Mill in Wighton, where she was born in 2002.Isobel's mother, Nicola, a nurse at a local hospital, was drinking tea with friends in a pub when she felt contractions. She informed Isobel's father, Neil, about this, and he immediately came to pick her up in a car to take her to the hospital. But when she started getting into the car, her water broke. They had to stay in the pub, where Isobel was born in a dry pool for children.
When Isobel was 4 years old, her family moved to Canada and hasn't been to Cambridgeshire since. But on her 18th birthday, Isobel's father, Neil, specially brought her to the historic pub in Wighton, where she was born.
