"The enemy will not pass!": thousands of chickens pecked to death a fox that made its way to their chicken coop
An unexpected incident occurred recently in France, on a farm located in the province of Brittany. Thousands of chickens pecked to death a fox that entered their coop at night.
The French edition of Ouest France wrote about the incident, and we want to tell this amazing story to you.
On the night of March 7, a fox entered a farm belonging to an agricultural college in the French province of Brittany. The animal made its way into the chicken coop, which contained about three thousand chickens, but he did not manage to get out of there with the prey.
The chickens mobbed the fox, cornered it and pecked it to death. In the morning, the animal's corpse was found by the staff of the educational institution.According to the man, the dead fox was about six months old. Apparently, the animal did not have much experience in hunting, otherwise, feeling threatened by birds, it would have simply left the chicken coop. That's how the "victims", united, managed to defeat the predator attacking them.
However, I feel a little sorry for the fox… Do you agree?
