The effect of a dream: photos of Antonio Palmerini

Italian photographer Antonio Palmerini on its website quoted a famous saying: "If you can't fall asleep at night means you're awake in someone's dream." The characters in his works are blurred, elusive figures who can easily be mistaken for those of the waking characters from someone's dreams.

To achieve the effect of dreams in photos, Palmerini uses techniques like double exposure, long exposure and more contrast when processing film. In fact, photography is the mirror of the imagination.
