In life not so much as the dramatic moments like the first kiss. That edition of LIFE magazine in 1942, it seems, thought the same and produced the manual with illustrations, how to kiss.

Photogid clearly shows how the "right" and "wrong" to do it, and, of course, all in the spirit of the 1940s. In the photos you can see the key moments of romantic activities (if we are to approach the matter from the point of view of science): for example, how to surrender a nice action on the couch (the girl should be placed on the handle, and a young man standing), or how to choose the right distance between himself and the partner.
