Recently in the Chinese village of Baoxi hosted the first international bamboo architecture Biennale, where, as you can guess, was presented structures entirely made from bamboo. The festival organizers took to prove that this material can be seamlessly used in the design of any interior or exterior. Maybe their uncle at the bamboo factory. To participate in the Biennale invited 12 eminent designers and architects from China and other countries.
"For many centuries, bamboo has been used in rural communities in different ways, says one of the organizers. This material has many different qualities, thus its relevance in mainland China is declining in favor of concrete. Because of the rapid and extensive proliferation of new Chinese cities had to abandon most of the traditional methods of construction."Keywords: Bamboo | Building | China | Material | Construction | Tourism
