The best shots of Hells Angels by Hunter S. Thompson
On May 4, 1947, the Hells Angels motorcycle gang was formed in California. Around this legendary club, which still exists, there were many scandals. In 1965, the future father of gonzo journalism and author of the acclaimed novel Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Hunter S. Thompson, spent a year with members of the club, who usually do not let strangers into their lives, after which he published the book Hells Angels ( (full title: HellsAngels. A Strange and Terrible Saga of the Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs). Introducing the Hells Angels through the eyes of Hunter S. Thompson.
