The artist redrew the logos of famous brands in the style of the Middle Ages
Each company has its own logo. We come across these images everywhere - at home, on the street, at work, when going online. They have become so familiar that we stop noticing them. Artist Ilya Denisov, also known online as Ilya Stallone, has rethought boring logos and depicted them as they might have looked hundreds of years ago.
We must pay tribute to Ilya’s imagination - he removed all modern elements from the images. Instead, the artist showed knights, peasants, animals, food and weapons. That is, everything that was closest to people living in the Middle Ages. Denisov’s logos are easily recognizable as illustrations from ancient books, which have recently attracted particular interest.
The author even abandoned modern fonts, and the captions for the images are similar to those that can be found in chronicles and documents of the 14th-15th centuries. Thanks to the work done, the dull symbols of companies and corporations sparkled with new colors and finally became pleasant and interesting to look at.
It is easy to see that Ilya Denisov managed to preserve the general features of the logo. Moreover, most of his images reflect the essence of the brand and its products much more accurately. For example, look at how the artist showed the legendary durability of the Nokia 3310 phone, which became a meme.
