The 20-year-old photographer shoots truly dizzying urban landscapes in different countries
Favorite pictures of 20-year—old photographer Yik Kit Lee are those that, as he puts it, cause him a "flashback effect". His pictures can literally make you dizzy. No matter where he is on the world map, he tries to capture moments of adventure and a rush of feelings before they slip away forever. Brief moments can live forever if photographed.

The photographer lives in Singapore and currently serves in the army. He learned to take pictures at the age of 16 using his phone. Since then, Yik Kit Lee has been honing his skills, but he never allows the "rules" of photography to bind himself hand and foot. In his twenties, he retains vivacity and youth in his work.
Now Lee travels three or four times a year. Most of all, his talent blossoms in places as unpredictable as the photographer himself. He likes Bangkok and Hong Kong because they are those two rare places where modernity and tradition live side by side. Yik Kit Lee believes that the best stories are hidden in contradictions caused by metamorphoses.
This sense of evolution and struggle is at the center of the photographer's work. When asked what inspires him, the photographer simply answers. The insatiable thirst to take beautiful pictures is much more important than anything you can imagine, and, according to Yik Kit Lee, you are either born with it or not.
"People who want to achieve something so much think about it all the time," says the artist. — This is the type of people who inspires me."
