1 Dec 1953 at newsstands in Chicago first issue of men's magazine Playboy. The edition was published with a circulation of 70 thousand copies, and its founder Hugh Hefner initially had my doubts that will ever issue a second number. The magazine has played a huge role in the sexual revolution of the country in the 1960-1980-ies. For half a century, Playboy has become one of the most recognizable brands around the world.
