From September 9 to 18, Moscow hosts a festival for moviegoers — the Moscow Cinema Festival. At 33 venues of the festival, a retrospective of 29 films shot in Moscow or about Moscow is a familiar and beloved Soviet classic from childhood: "Ivan Vasilyevich changes his profession", "Diamond Hand", "The meeting place cannot be changed" — and modern tapes: "Night Watch", "Dudes" and others. Information about the festival venues and the location map are available on the website.

For example, makeup lessons are held on the Kuznetsky Bridge on weekends, and on Novy Arbat throughout the week they talk about the secrets of creating special effects in movies and even teach how to make their own short films.
