The chairman of the Board of Soyuzmultfilm, Juliana Slashcheva, said that the studio plans to shoot a sequel to the cartoon about the parrot Kesha, the first issue of which was released in 1984. We have already started working on a pilot release. And if it succeeds, they will shoot a whole series.

In addition, Soyuzmultfilm would like to release a full-length animated film that could be shown in cinemas in 2D and 3D. The approximate cost of such a painting, which will be the first such commercial project of the state studio, existing since 1936, will be approximately 200-300 million rubles.

On April 3, Soyuzmultfilm has already released the first series of the new Prostokvashino, in the current relaunch of which the postman Pechkin delivers parcels from online stores, Sharik takes selfies and uses Skype, and the cat Matroskin calls him "hipster barn". A total of 30 episodes of the new "Prostokvashino" are planned.

Although these are not the first remakes of the original animated series of the 80s in the XXI century: in 2002, the cartoon "Morning of Kesha the Parrot" was released, in 2005 - "New Adventures of Kesha the Parrot", and in 2006 - "Kesha the Parrot and the Monster". Netizens note that they do not differ in special quality, as, in fact, the fresh remake of "Prostokvashino". Many are quite pessimistic about the relaunch of the Cache series.
