Smoking and cooking kebabs on balconies have been banned in Russia
If you have a bad habit of smoking and like to do it on the balcony, then we have bad news for you. From October 1, it will be much more difficult for you to indulge in your little weakness at home, since it is from this day that Russia introduces a ban on smoking on balconies and loggias.
The ban will affect not only fans of smoking on the balcony, but also those who use these places for more extravagant purposes. In particular, in addition to smoking, Russians were banned from cooking kebabs on balconies and ... lighting candles. So if you are a romantic and like to smoke or cook meat by candlelight, then get ready to plunge into despair.
The bans are related to the fact that the Russian government has approved changes to the rules of the fire protection regime. These standards are valid not only for apartments, but also for balconies and loggias in dorm rooms and hotels. They will be fined for violations both on individual balconies and on those that are in public use.
So briefly formulated the essence of the new amendment for journalists in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia. They also told the press about other innovations related to fire safety.
From October 1, before each session in cinemas, viewers will be informed about actions in case of fire. In addition, the law provides for the placement of wards for children, the elderly and seriously ill people in medical and sanatorium institutions, preferably on the first floors.
Russia, according to statistics, is in 4th place in the top 10 most smoking countries in the world, so the ban will hit many residents of the country.
