Shotgun, kebab and limousines: what happiness looks like in Lithuania

Categories: Europe | Photo project |

Art photographer Mindaugas Azusilis is one of the most promising talents from Lithuania. He has been photographing since 2005, and his works have managed to take part in exhibitions in many European countries.

Mindaugas has been nominated for several prestigious international awards, such as Circulations: Young European Photography, Encontros da Imagen, Lens Culture Student Photography Awards and the Baltic Photo Biennale.

In the series of photographs Happiness in Lithuania, Mindaugas captured the simple everyday life of Lithuanians as he sees them himself. The pictures came out unconventional and even partly hypnotizing with their unusual everyday life for the Russian philistine. It seems as if they were made in a certain Lithuania from a parallel world. However, judge for yourself.
