American Mark Jenkins is a famous artist working in the genre of street art. Street installations made of packing tape brought him fame. A few years ago, he visited Moscow and taught his local colleagues the art of scotch. After that, translucent ballerinas, yogis and other characters appeared on the streets of the capital. But Muscovites, as it turned out, do not care about yogis from scotch tape — the sculptures did not cause a stir.
Of course, in Mark's arsenal there are other techniques for transforming nondescript urban landscapes. But the strongest impression is made by all the same figures made of scotch tape, but already dressed in ordinary clothes. The artist comes up with such mise-en-scenes for them that a casual passerby cannot remain indifferent.
