Cognac candies have only one drawback — they have too little cognac. Another thing is plump pork sausages, that's where there's a lot of room for stuffing. The Northern Irish butcher shop Maguire Meats offers a drink and a snack at the same time. They sell sausages pumped up with a cocktail of vodka and Red Bull or rum and soda.
The owner of the store, Keelan Maguire, says that this crazy idea was born when he and the team were discussing updating the assortment for the summer season. The suggestion to stuff sausages with booze seemed crazy at first, but this feeling quickly passed. It took some time to prepare such a product, so they appeared on sale only last week.
