Pleasure Garden: the life of the regulars of swinger clubs

Austrian photographer Rainer Ridler has been shooting swinger and fetish clubs in his homeland, Tokyo and Munich, for more than a decade, photographing the most curious visitors there. According to Ridler, he was fascinated by the artificiality of this environment, which eventually leads to the opposite effect and the creation of hyper-realistic situations. "Taking pictures in places where people have sex is always difficult, I was forced to distance myself from the role of a voyeur."
