Photo manipulations by Eric Johansson
Erik Johansson — a young photographer and artist from Sweden, who with the help of a camera and graphic editors creates unique images and incredible stories. We present to your attention a selection of 13 of Eric's most impressive works.
Erik Johansson is quite young, but he already has his own style. He blurs the line between reality and fantasy, thereby making his work unique.
On his website , Eric writes: "Photography for me is only an opportunity to collect material for the realization of the ideas of my imagination. I am delighted with the things that surround me in everyday life and their characteristics. Every new project is a new duel, and my goal is to do it as realistically as possible."
Eric likes to experiment. He often creates self-portraits in an absolutely fantastic setting. Take a closer look: the thin blond man who is present in several photos is the author himself. Eric's "paintings" are highly detailed, and therefore they can be viewed indefinitely, gradually discovering new details. Johansson considers Salvador Dali and Rene Magritte to be his sources of inspiration. But the influence of Maurice Escher and Rob Gonzalez is much more noticeable in his works.Eric works mainly on his own projects, but does not give up on commercial ones either.

The master's works can hardly be called photographs — they are rather paintings created on the basis of simple at first glance photographic works.
