Fear of pain is one of the main reasons for refusing plastic surgery services. In fact, only a few operations cause serious discomfort. The "pain" rating among the most popular procedures was made by Georgy Chemyanov, a plastic surgeon, candidate of medical sciences, and the founder of the aesthetic medicine clinic Chemyanov Medical Lounge.
2. Blepharoplasty and rhinoplasty
It would seem that rhinoplasty is a complex operation, and it should be accompanied by a difficult rehabilitation period, but in fact, almost no one complains of pain. The procedure itself is performed under anesthesia, so during it, the patient does not feel discomfort. But the rehabilitation period after the operation can last from 10 days to three to four weeks, which causes some anxiety.

The same goes for blepharoplasty, which is surgery to reshape the eyelids. Of course, these are not mosquito bites, but here we are talking more about discomfort. The trembling before these operations (especially before the rhinoplasty) arises due to possible edema or bruising. It is impossible to insure against their appearance, it all depends on the individual characteristics of the organism, which do not affect the activity of the operation.

Liposculpture of the body includes liposuction (fat removal) and lipo-filling (fat transplantation). Usually, patients assume that since fat will accumulate throughout the body to fill, say, the chest or buttocks, then literally everything will hurt. But due to the fact that we are working not with muscles, but with fatty tissue and do not make large incisions on the skin, fears are exaggerated. The area of the surgeon's work is quite large - the abdomen, sides, waist, back, and hips, but the pain will be felt as from a large bruise, which reminds of itself only when you touch or change the position of the body.

Facial surgeries are often associated with pain, although they are actually the least painful of all. Even SMAS-lifting is a circular lift. Despite the fact that in the process we work with muscles, during the period of exposure to the device, slight tingling and discomfort are absolutely normal.

Pain during rehabilitation is very moderate. It's more of a pulling sensation. A traumatic operation seems to be due to swelling and bruising that may appear in the first days after.
