Parents of a 5-year-old boy from the USA are sure that he was possessed by a ghost
Luke Ruehlman from Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, is only five years old. But for three years now, this kid has been scaring his parents with a strange story. As soon as he learned to speak, Luke told his dad and mom that a dark-skinned woman named Pam Robinson lived in it. It could be called a silly childhood fantasy, but it's not that simple.
The world learned the story of Luke Rulman thanks to a program on the American Fox TV channel 2. The boy's mother, Erica Rulman, told the host and the audience a strange and creepy story. Around the age of two, Luke started mentioning some woman named Pam. Later, he began adding her last name, Robinson.
At first, the parents wondered where the boy got this name from. It was not worn by any of the people with whom the Rulmans communicated. But when Luke grew up, he explained who this Pam was.
But that's not all. Luke began to tell details about life in another body, which he simply could not know. In particular, he talked about Chicago, where neither he nor his parents had ever been. The boy recalled a train trip to this city and many other stories.
Sometimes he scares his parents right on the street. He points to some woman and claims that he wore exactly the same earrings. He also likes to clarify that in a previous life he had a shock of dark hair on his head. Erica was so intrigued by Luke's stories that she began to make inquiries.
To her horror, it turned out that Pam Robinson actually existed. She was a black woman from Chicago who tragically died in 1993 when she was 24 years old. She was one of the 19 victims of a large-scale fire at the Paxton Hotel. The woman told all this in the studio of the program, which was called "The Ghost inside my child."
To verify the authenticity of the story, five-year-old Luke began to show photos of dark-skinned women. Among them was Pam Robinson, whom the boy immediately identified. Coincidence or forgery were excluded, since the presenters used the oldest pictures from the woman's family archive, which he could not have seen before.
Before coming to the studio, Luke's mother found Pam's relatives. She wanted to know as much as possible about this man. There were many mysterious moments waiting for her. It turned out that Luke and Pam has a lot in common. The boy loves Stevie Wonder's music and is interested in keyboard instruments. These were the interests of the deceased woman.
Erica Rulman tried to persuade Pam's family to take part in the program, but they refused. They also forbade mentioning on television some moments from the life of a relative. Therefore, before the broadcast, we had a conversation with Luke so that he would not give away secrets. Scientists have stated that they cannot yet explain this phenomenon from the point of view of official science.
