The act of a teacher of one of the elementary schools in Indiana caused public outrage. A teacher of an educational institution with a specialized profile awarded an 11-year-old student suffering from autism with the title "The most annoying boy" during a holiday dedicated to the end of the school year.

Rick Castejon, the father of fifth-grader Akalis, who has nonverbal autism, said that he and his wife were stunned when they saw what an award their son received. The sign stated that the student was recognized as "The most annoying boy of the 2018 — 2019 academic year at the preparatory Academy of Bayi". Other students received awards in more positive categories, such as "who raised the level of knowledge" or "the most fun".
