Our hands are not for boredom: a teacher from the United States was fired for masturbation lessons
In the West, sexual education is put on a broad scale and even first-graders have lessons "about it". But still, the US education system does not welcome cases when they try to teach the program externally and tell the kids what they know too early. It was on this that a diligent teacher of sexual education from the elite Dalton School in New York, who taught first-graders the wisdom of masturbation, burned.
The methods of work of the primary school teacher Justine Ang Fonte (Justine Ang Fonte) outraged the parents of first-graders and at their request, the teacher was dismissed from her job. The righteous anger of the fathers and mothers was caused by the fact that Justine, trying to teach her subject to the children as best as possible, told them a cartoon about masturbation and even showed them thematic illustrations for clarity.
Fortunately for Fonte herself, and perhaps for the children, they were not photographs, but only caricatures. But this was too much for the puritanical parents. Their righteous anger can be understood – a year of training in an elite elementary school costs 55 thousand dollars (about 4 million rubles) and there is not a word about masturbation lessons in the contract with the school.
Officially, the teacher's dismissal was filed as her voluntary departure from school. In response to the angry letters from the children, the headmaster, Mr Jim Best, wrote:
The director of the educational institution also hurried to write a letter of resignation after the end of the school year, apparently fearing that the case would not be given further progress and would not make him guilty. The director held his position for more than 16 years and his work was satisfied with both students and parents.
It is quite possible that dissatisfaction with the advanced methods of sexual education of schoolchildren is a relic of those times when real wars were organized against masturbation.
