Not a woman's business: a Chinese blogger painted his lips for seven hours a day and earned $ 1.5 million in a year
Chinese blogger Li Jiaqi, who tests lipsticks on the Taobao platform, earned more than $1.5 million in 2017.
Li Jiaqi, who is called the "king of lipstick," tests more than 300 types of lipstick daily during a seven-hour live broadcast. He interrupts only to drink water and go to the toilet.
But the blogger himself believes that he has advantages in this area. Many women cannot test more than three lipsticks a day because it harms the delicate skin of the lips, and Lee tests 380 samples in one day. Fans call him "the brother with the iron lips."
Lee says he helps fans buy the right products at the lowest price. Sometimes he asks companies to provide his fans with discounts and coupons. At the end of 2017, Li was invited to teach at Jiangsu Pedagogical University. He will be teaching a course called Taobao Writing and Communications.
