Mark Hom moved from his native Copenhagen to New York in 1989, after graduating from the Danish Academy of Arts. After 18 months of freelance work with recognized photographers in New York, Homa had the chance to shoot a photobook for the Vienna Ballet. The photographer spent the next six months in Vienna, shooting artists and directors, and eventually prepared a collection of 80 fantastic pictures. Back in New York, Mark signed a contract with Harper's Bazaar. This was a sharp turn in the career of Homa, who quickly gained popularity in the fashion industry and became one of the best masters of photography who ever shot celebrities.
