New research says children in single-parent families happy
British scientists have refuted the widespread view that children with a single parent, life is much worse than in the family complete. Experts are sure: this factor has no effect on the quality of life of the child.
What facts scientific figures reinforce my theory, read the material below.
For ten years the staff of the University of Sheffield has collected data on 27 834 households in the UK to assess the effect of complete and incomplete families (single parent) on the development, psyche and quality of life of children in General.
For a long time it was customary to assume that children living in single-parent families, unfulfilled, and unhappy, but this study is completely refuted this theory.
Analysis of the observations, which were conducted between 2009 and 2017, showed that children living with one parent, had a similar (or greater) level of satisfaction with life than those children who lived in two-parent families. The quality of their communication with peers was not, contrary to popular belief that children from single-parent families are "special".
Referring to the results of the study, the researchers asked the state and public organizations, working with children, to abandon the prejudices imposed by society.
What do you think about this study? I agree with its results?
