Muscular squirrels: no one else will steal their nuts this summer

Photographer Max Ellis captured two squirrels pumping iron in his garden. Looking at these photos, it looks like squirrels are lifting weights, but in fact, the 52-year-old photographer used food and special thin ropes to create a fun photo series for his own son.

Max used the food to lure the squirrels, then waited patiently, taking up position with a camera in hand.

4. “This is a real dumbbell weighing 2 kg, hanging on an almost invisible thin fishing line,” said Max.
