Make love, not war: a new advertising campaign against AIDS

Categories: Europe | Health and Medicine |

The European Football Championship continues on the fields of stadiums in France, which means that hundreds of thousands of people from all over Europe will visit the country to experience participation in this exciting sporting event. They will get to know each other, spend time together and probably contact more closely.

The Paris advertising agency TBWA together with the non-profit organization AIDES have created four attention-grabbing promotional photos that motivate the use of contraceptives to protect themselves from contracting AIDS during sexual intercourse. Posters show people of different nationalities and different sexual orientations posing naked. Their naked bodies are painted in the colors of national flags.

On all the posters you can see not only the inscription "Make love, not war" (Make love, not war), but also a reminder that you need to protect yourself from possible negative consequences: "Mix, protect yourself together" (Blend together, safe together).
