Life-Best Director: Funny Coincidences in Jesse Lindenberg's Street Shots
Ishay "Jesse" Lindenberg can turn seemingly meaningless everyday events into real art. The master of street photography and coincidence shares his experience in developing creative intuition.
Yishai's father was an avid amateur photographer. From early childhood, little Yishai and his sister Yara always begged their father to let them participate in the film development process.
The boy really liked the mess with the tank and chemicals in the darkened room, and his father's old camera "Sharp-sighted", there was something magical about it all.
When Yishai was 20, he went to India, where he bought his first camera. At first, photography was just a hobby for Lindenberg, but now he enters a personal program at the Faculty of Arts, where he begins more serious training and experiments in the field of photography and art.
For the past few years, Yishai has been living and working in Berlin. His love of photography is very diverse. He does both fashion and portrait photography, but Lindenberg's passion is street photography.
Yishai tries to carry a camera almost everywhere, and in extreme cases, uses a smartphone.
Lindenberg believes that many of the stories that randomly appear on the streets of our cities have both artistic and social value, so he tries not to miss them.
Lindenberg is sure that wonderful stories are constantly happening around us. They are impossible to anticipate or plan, because here the director is Life itself.
To be able to notice valuable moments, you need to train your intuition and learn to observe, Yishai shares his experience. The more you practice, the sharper your "sixth sense" becomes, and the better the result.
Yishai creates works without following any specific principles of traditional photography. In his lens, there are genuine stories in the mosaic of busy modern life.
