Landscapes of America's National Parks
More than 50 years ago, the historic Wilderness Act was signed, and for the first time the earth began to be protected from human interference. The law marked the beginning of the creation of a National system of nature Reserves in the United States. Today there are 758 nature reserves in 44 states, they occupy more than 441 square kilometers - about 5% of all American lands. We will show you some such interesting pictures of protected places today.
