The twelfth Day of Guinness World Records took place last week. Every year this holiday gathers people with outstanding abilities from all over the world.

Brazilians Paulo Gabriel da Silva Barros and Katyusia Lee Hoshino got married recently. From the world's shortest pair of lovers, they became the shortest married couple. A husband and wife met eight years ago on a social network.
"We are delighted to be participating in the Guinness World Records Day and to be able to celebrate our unique achievement. We hope that our example will inspire observers to ignore the physical characteristics of other people and understand that everyone should be treated equally."
Simon Berry, 24, a bungee jumper from Sheffield, jumped with a rope from a record height of 70 meters. In the photo, he dips a chocolate cookie into a cup of tea.

Basketball player Corey Lowe, nicknamed Thunder, made the farthest throw from a sitting position. He threw the ball into the basket from a distance of 17.9 meters.
This eight-year-old blue-yellow macaw named Skipper threw 19 rings on the pin in a minute.
Now Skipper is a world record holder.
Briton Martin Rees received an award for the most incredible tricks performed in the sky with a parachute.
These young Japanese women set a record for double-dating — team jumping over two jump ropes. They made 129 jumps in 30 seconds.
31-year-old Japanese Keisuke Yokota held 29 traffic cones on his chin.
