James Rose is the oldest man to change gender
Many of us dream of something all our lives, but do nothing concrete to achieve our goal. As a result, having lost a lot of time, we still make our dream come true, and the thought immediately appears in our head: “Why didn’t I do this earlier?” James Rose, 81, was once married and the father of three, but he divorced his wife four years ago to become what he has dreamed of being all his life.

5. James never felt comfortable in a male body, and around the age of 80, he began hormone therapy. James changed his name to Ruth and, at 81, completed his journey to finally become a woman, undergoing sex reassignment surgery and thus becoming the oldest person to have had a sex change.
