Yale colleague Elizabeth Devore from the Harvard School of Medical Research, after conducting her own observations of 1,300 volunteers, made even less comforting conclusions. She learned that lovers of long sleep have an increased predisposition to Alzheimer's disease. They are also more likely to suffer from coronary heart disease and generally age faster.

However, they were not interested in the health of sleep lovers, but in the effectiveness of their mental activity. It turned out that everything is not easy here either. Those who sleep longer than they should, show poor test results and encephalograms with age. Their memory and thinking decrease 2 times faster than those who slept 6-8 hours.
