In France, a car was found on the roof of a bus stop. How did it get there?
A couple of weeks ago, residents of Pluneventer, a city in the French region of Brittany, witnessed a strange sight. A white van was parked on the roof of the Place de l'Eglise bus stop. Agree that this is not the same as a scooter on the roof of the garage. That is why the unusual sight gathered a lot of onlookers.
Residents of Pluneventer photographed the unusual installation and posted posts on the web. This contributed to the growing popularity of the van stop, to which whole excursions were organized. The photos quickly went viral and began to wander through groups and forums in France, and then in other countries.
The police, who arrived at the scene among the first, were puzzled. The owner of the white commercial vehicle was identified immediately, but it did not give anything. The entrepreneur who owned the van did not know how his car got to the bus stop pavilion. The night before, he had parked it in a nearby parking lot and gone to bed.
Law enforcement officers had to hire a crane to remove the car from the stop. The officers suggested that the hooligans also used a lifting mechanism for their action. But who, and most importantly, why arranged such a performance? There was no answer to this question. Someone tried to blame local conceptual artists for the extravagant trick. But they all had an ironclad alibi on the night of the crime.
We can say that the police signed their helplessness. For the first time in the history of the city, the guards asked for help from citizens on Facebook. But the witnesses were in no hurry to testify and in general, it is not a fact that they existed. In a week, the investigation has not advanced a single step towards solving it!
But the white van on the roof of the bus stop was not destined to add to the list of mysteries of the century. The case was finally solved and everything turned out to be embarrassingly banal. It turned out that a commercial dispute had arisen between the owner of the car and one person. After a couple of days, the side that considered itself infringed decided to take revenge.
The man arrived on a loader, which rearranges the pallets and lifted the opponent's van to the stop. The "villain" was lucky that no one saw him. Agree, it is very difficult to pull off such an operation unnoticed, especially in the center of a provincial town. The owner of the car and the offender were interrogated at the police station and released to their homes for the time being.
Regardless of whether the owner of the equipment has claims against the bully, he faces trial and punishment. His actions are not a prank at all, but an action that has endangered the lives and health of many people. Of course, you will have to answer for the bus stop that was damaged.
A more harmless joke with a car was invented by Canadian Simon Laprais. This resident of Montreal managed to prank the police and they took the joke normally.
